Every two years, Alpha Sigma Tau holds a National Convention to make impactful leadership and governing decisions, foster meaningful connections, expand an understanding of the Alpha Sigma Tau experience, and celebrate organizational, chapter, and individual achievements.

National Convention is a unique Sisterhood experience. At its heart, Convention celebrates who we are and what we’re about. Convention imparts an unwavering enthusiasm, pride, and affinity for the Alpha Sigma Tau experience into the hearts and minds of all who participate.

At Alpha Sigma Tau Convention, Sisters and delegates gather to make important business decisions that influence the Sorority’s future. 

This course bundle is designed to help prepare registered voting delegates for the Convention Business Meeting sessions.

As a result of completing these courses, voting delegates will:

• Understand the proposed legislation and the rationale for each amendment
• Know about each slated candidate for the 2020-2022 National Council
• Understand how voting on amendments and for elections will occur
• Be able to prepare for participation in and know how to access the Convention Business Meeting sessions
• Know how to participate in discussion during the Business Meeting sessions
• Learn basic tenets of Parliamentary Procedure/Robert’s Rules of Order
• Be able to use the Zoom Webinar features to participate in the Business Meeting sessions
